Garner Hotel Pigeon Forge Downtown by IHG

Affordable with a terrific breakfast. Parking can be a little tricky if lot is full, but when lot is sparse it's not bad. The hotel has a small footprint but makes good use of their limit space. Check-in wasn't the smoothest but the people were all nice. Overall I'm happy with the hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights and our experience was excellent. The staff is very friendly, especially Georgia at the front desk and the room was clean and quiet. We highly recommend staying here. The value is very good!

Positive: This hotel was perfect for us. Location was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The floor could have used a mopping but otherwise very clean. Negative: Floor needs to be mopped.

The hotel was clean and new, with an affordable price. The front desk receptionists are very welcoming. On the downside, the walls were quite thin - I could hear water flowing from the next room, which was a bit of a drawback. Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Our experience at the Garner Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN was unacceptable and in direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). After checking in and being issued a room key, we were stopped on our way to the elevator by a staff member who told us that pets were not allowed on the property. With us was my fully trained medical alert service dog, who was vested (though the ADA does not require service dogs to wear any identification or vest). The staff member stated she “hadn’t seen him.” We explained that he is a service animal required due to a disability. Under the ADA, hotel staff are not permitted to deny access, delay access, segregate, or treat guests differently because of a service animal, nor are they allowed to demand documentation or details about a person’s disa
