The building is newer and was greeted & checked in by very friendly man. Excellent service! Location is nice and quiet with eateries short drive away. Room was clean with amenities like microwave, mini fridge, and work desk & chair. Clean carpeting and bedding. Breakfast area was clean with basic continental breakfast items. Loved the stay!!
Needed a room for an overnight stay. Was told about this Garner hotel. It didn’t have a sign yet so I almost missed it. Front desk people were nice. The room I got had high ceilings and was very clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.
Positive: The beds were so comfortable. The room was spacious and inviting when we walked in. Negative: The breakfast was not very good. They had run out of some of the breakfast items. They need to consider not everyone roses early on their vacation.
We stayed 2 nights here at 1 st floor. The ceiling is pretty high and has echo. The lights are all in White color. Overall it is clean and good breakfast for road trip
IHG probably bought ‘Baymont’ and remodeled it to ‘Garner - IHG’. Not sure what this hotel used be like but im guessing 80% of the interior stays the same. This is NOT a new hotel. Nothing feels new. There’s no proper sign yet just a flag saying it’s ’Garner by IHG’ - also couldn’t find a location on Google maps (hence adding one here for people’s awareness) The interior is old, the carpet and chair feels dirty but bedding and bathroom feels clean. The room has a microwave and a refrigerator. The water machine downstairs is rather inefficient for such a big hotel. The most disappointing part is that the walls are thin - you can hear all the conversation next door. Very bad luck to be neighbored with kids. Despite its next to the famous dam and the hotel seems fairly empty, we got the room
