Garfield Beach House

Christian was extremely helpful not only getting us in on a short notice, but with any help we needed during our stay. The first thing we arrived we were delighted to open the front door to the hall and to smell the clean!! Was a nice welcome after some places! Not to mention bigger than others! The cleanliness continued when we went to our apartment as well.The room was more than adequate thru out and the kitchen facilities were full size! The bedroom was so crisp and well made up. We were happy to have a pet friendly place that our pet was actually happy at! We would not hesitate to recommend here or to stay again!!!

They say no dogs over 50 pounds but if your honest and tell them the real weight of your dog they will let stay. Very nice people. Clean place. Lots of people with dogs stay here. 1000 feet from the beach and the boardwalk. A little expensive because of the location close to everything. Overall a really good place to stay at.

Good wifi, excellent A/C, easy parking, pet friendly, 1-bedroom apt. near the beach. Seemed clean, and we appreciated all the "wear a mask" signs, even if few people obeyed them. But I've never before paid $250 a night and not had a place to sit down. The "living/dining" area had one table with four ice cream parlor chairs--the type you want to spend no more than 10 minutes in--and that was it. No sofa, no sitting area. We brought our beach chair upstairs so we at least had a place to read and talk It also seemed they went out of their way to remove places to hang things in the bathroom. No towel bars or shelves, tiny sink. It was very odd. These are easy things to improve; the question is, why would you remove ordinary amenities from a rental space? We won't stay here again.

Don't plan your vacation here!! We drove 4 hours to find out they canceled our reservation. I paid 800.00 as a deposit i have an email and a receipt, 10 p.m. we were left finding a room on July 4th weekend with 2 dogs. Their mistake and another hotel helped a find a place. All I got from them was a sorry and a run around. TERRIBLE BUSINESS OWNERS

Stayed here once. They allow pets and that is the biggest advantage. Close to beach as well. Rooms are OK and service staff was OK. Booked again. Our stay was scheduled during the power outage. I had to cancel because of health reasons, we were bringing food,I have a kid, I have a pet. We could not stay where there was no power in the rooms. I get in 100% not their fault. We called the day of our check in to see when power would be restored. First it was 3. Then 5. Then 9. At that point we decided to just scrap the whole thing. As I called to inquire, and ultimately try to cancel our reservation, the lady on the phone was of no help. As soon as I mentioned cancelling all of the sudden it went from 9PM back on to any minute now and they are going to purchase generators. Super shady. I fi
