Frontier Lodge

We came in super short notice and were able to stay here. For the price it was amazing, smelled a bit funny but the room was clean.

Our family has stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Lander has grown and lots of new hotels have sprung up. We continue to go because it's been part of our experience. With a restaurant and bar attached it's really convenient for a group of dirty backpackers.||Now, its unique to be sure, not one once of fancy, but the beds are comphy and the showers hot. ||The restaurant has huge portions and the bar is pure frontier!

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Everything about the lodge was great. I actually stayed an extra night because I enjoyed the atmosphere so much. I would rather stay at a place with some character than a cookie cutter hotel.

Service at front desk was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable receptionist that was very prompt in helping us. Really neat decor and rustic appearance of lodge. Room was clean but lighting was very dim with overhead light not working but lamps worked fine. Bath tub looked like it needed a renovation and had a broken knob. Beds were very comfortable and amenities in room like mini fridge and microwave worked well. Great location on a street with serval cute stores around. Plenty of parking with parking between the lodge and the restaurant or a gravel lot across the street from the restaurant. The attached Maverick restaurant has incredible food that is reasonably priced. It was great waking up and walking over for breakfast after checking out.

Rooms very smelly. I had to buy Lysol from Safeway to ease the smell.
