Fremont Inn

The rooms are spacious and clean, we got the 2 queen bed room. It was large for a room of this type, and it was nicely appointed. The service at the front desk was a little surly. I accidentally locked myself out of the room at 1am and the front desk person response was , "well I gave you 2 keys already." And I am like I don't care if it was 5 keys they are all inside the room for Christ's sake." Yeah so rooms are good, don't expect friendly service lol.

Dated hotel in a dated town with limited options. Rooms definitely could use some updating. Stay was ok but city water smells horrible and the afternoon/evening front desk has a poor attitude.

While this is an older property it's in fantastic shape and maintained very well. Housekeeping does an amazing job. I'm super picky about rooms. The first thing I do is look for dust and grime and I'm happy to report that there was none to find in the room where I stayed. In fact the size of my room was unexpectedly large and well appointed. Do yourself a favor and stay here whether for a bit or something longer term.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Fremont Inn in Lakeview, Oregon, mainly due to the office manager’s consistently poor customer service. From the moment I called to make a reservation, I felt unwelcome. When I asked if breakfast was included, she replied, "It depends on how many guests I have that day," which was already an odd answer. After completing the booking, she rushed through giving me my confirmation number, and when I asked if she could email or text it to me, I heard an audible sigh before she reluctantly took my email. On the day of arrival, after a long 6+ hour drive, I arrived a bit early around 1 pm hoping to check in and rest. If this wasn’t the only decent option I wouldn’t have chosen to stay here. However, this is one of the better options for a town this small. This was also quite expensive, nearly $3000 total for 11 days. This was a business trip, I couldn’t stomach paying that much for a place like this myself. My room was cleaned daily, I did find the yellow linens and towels off-putting.
