Camp Cottonwood Campground

Beautiful, peaceful campground with scenic views. Had so much fun on the lake, and the community fire pit is an amazing touch. Commercial kitchen and bunkhouses available?? Can't go wrong 😎

Horseback riding is great here. Horse corrals are in rough shape tho.

Great little campground with sites well separated and close to a pretty lake. Mosquitoes were somewhat of a problem. Saw several deer, ducks, etc

This is a great campground for RVs and tents. You're at about 6500 feet, though, so be prepared. There's a lake, a ton of trails to hike, and nice flat tent spaces. There are campfire pits with grates and old school picnic tables. Its $6 a night and be prepared for cows in your campsite. There are outhouses for campers and wast water dumps for RVers. The lake is gorgeous. Didn't see anything motorized on it.

A very nice place. 2 picnic areas, 2 camping areas, and a youth camp, all on one lake. Road is paved all the way in to where it branches between the three, then it's gravel with only a few potholes. Lake is scenic, and there's a hiking trail that goes to the top of a nearby mountain. Mixed-species conifer forest with mature trees, none are dying from bugs. To get to the main campground and picnic areas, go straight where the paved road takes a hard right, cross the cattle guard, and go almost to the end. To get to the second campground, take the hard right and go less than a mile until you see a sign with an icon of a camper trailer and an arrow. Go where the arrow points. This campground is across the lake from the main one.
