Franciscan Inn Motel

I had a great stay at the Franciscan Inn! The location is convenient to restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions, making it an easy base for exploring the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, WiFi and nice TV. The property has a quiet, relaxed feel and the pool is a big plus. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’d happily stay here again!

I would recommend nobody stay here, this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Nothing but drug dealers in the rooms. It was a free for all at night. Tweekers walking around like zombies. I would never leave my car here either. The straw that made me ask for a refund and leave was the man walking around with a propane can, he made it into a blow torch and was trying to light the stairs on fire. |Every drug addict in Vista was here. |I left at 12:30 at night. Only one 18 yr old kid was working far away from the rooms.|A bunch of runways and gang members in these rooms. The bathroom has bugs and mold. The windows has no screens . The Carpet was filthy , I ran out of there. |Studio 6 in Carlsbad is like the Ritz compared to this dump. A total life hazard. Bulldoze

😊: The location was great and you could drive up to the room. Room was big. People were nice.. 😢: Dirty, mold in the bathroom, walls were filthy, needed and requested a first floor room due to Medical equipment and was given a second story floor. They did change it. No battery in the smoke detector. It needs a good scrub down..

My friend was very sick and so is not to get his sister sick went to The Franciscan inn to stay the night. He was charged $120 for room 138 there were roaches the shower water was leaking constantly. the bathroom was filthy and disgusting. the heater didn't work and the room was freezing. there were cigarette burn stains in the bedspread and it stunk like it hadn't been washed. it was the most disgusting room I've ever seen when I came to bring him food. He was absolutely uncomfortable and freezing. I couldn't even believe that he stayed there I would have asked for my money back. The furniture was way outdated the carpet had to cut holes in it it was not worth $40 let alone $120. My advice to you is go somewhere else this is a dive! These rooms should be torn down! The whole place is like an oasis here. Nice open grounds with plants bordering the rooms and pool. The others staying here were so nice too and just added to the peaceful stay. Gorgeous interior in the room, very clean! The staff has been so wonderful, the manager was so nice and respectful and very interactive on the grounds. The location makes all the difference to making both the stay and the means manageable. Lots of shops nearby, plenty of businesses and not too far from North County Square! There's a bus stop right by there that goes from Escondido to Vista. We are definitely coming back and staying!
