Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego Vista

Rooms are decent size, bigger than the average. Rooms are clean the only complaint i have is the floors are dirty due to the black pavement in the parking lot. The staff is always friendly. Juan and forgive me if I get the name wrong but I think her name is Maribel/Marisol. Either way the both of them are very attentive, friendly always a smile on their face easy to speak with, helpful in every way. Them two make my review the 5 star.

Juan that works here is the best! He is alway very patient and professional. I wish he worked here full time since I do come here often. Juan provides excellent customer service! I gave this review 5 stars because of the excellent customer service Juan always provides! I wish the other team members would learn from him! The person that I can’t stand here is Lori! She is lazy, rude, acts like she hates her job and customers! Lori is very unprofessional and unhelpful! The rooms ceilings seem like it needs some work. The rooms are clean, it’s quite here, safe, many stores close by less than a mile.

The rooms apart to have been recently renovated but still apart to be run down at a close look. The top bed cover on one of our beds has several brown stains. They advertise as having free breakfast but all they had were 2 muffins and not enough coffee to fill one mug. Muffins are not breakfast.

Positive: The price was reasonable, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, the water pressure was great. The pool was surprisingly nice - clean, peaceful and scenic. Negative: Location next to the freeway was good for access and proximity to local shopping and dining, but bad for noise. The TV didn't work (I declined switching rooms). Breakfast was meh.

I'd like to shout out to Kelly. The overnight Front Desk Agent. I was out in the cold. A friend invited me to come over to visit with him and he fell asleep. And I had gotten a ride over and I had no way of going back until the morning public transportation. I asked her if there was any rooms I didn't have much money and I explained to her that my friend fell asleep and did not answer the door and she immediately looked up and saw that there was room available. She even helped me find a way to get a twenty five dollar discount for the room. She booked the room and then informed me of a $75 hold on for the room for incidentals, is what I'm thinking and I wasn't sure whether I had the money or not. But I never saw the charge for the 75 and she just asked me to , please not to do anything ba
