Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port was made truly exceptional thanks to Alex at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Alex greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and handled my check-in efficiently and professionally. She was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions about the airport shuttle and local recommendations with patience and enthusiasm. What stood out most was Alex's attentiveness—she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even anticipating needs I hadn't mentioned. Her positive energy and friendly demeanor turned a standard hotel arrival into a welcoming experience that set the tone for a great trip. The hotel itself is conveniently located for airport and cruise port access, with clean rooms and good amenities

We selected this hotel as the layover prior to our Fort Lauderdale cruise. We were not disappointed. Our room was ready earlier than check-in but traffic delayed our arrival. Once there Michelle checked in promptly and with a friendly demeanor. Hotel specifics were explained with a smile.||Our 4th floor room was spacious and modestly appointed. Some expected wear and tear given the fact that rooms turn over daily with cruise ship and airport departures. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet for sleeping. The room did include a mini fridge and microwave in addition to a small desk and sofa. ||The bathroom was large, hot water and water pressure was good.||We opted to dine in their 1800 Bistro for an early evening snack. we took the shuttle from the airport-it was easy/quick and the driver was friendly. The room was clean and was nice that there was a fridge. The ac was nice and cold. It’s cld be updated-bathroom door didn’t latch and our key card got stuck it the door. We called ahead to have a crib in our room because we got in past 11pm-they didn’t have it in there but when we called down and requested it, they brought it right up despite being short staffed. No food was available due to the plandemic, a few places within walking distance but were drive through only. We ended up ordering pizza from a place the front desk recommended-it was very good, but took over an hour to get. Overall it was a pleasant stay for a night and we would stay again.

Checked in on Feb 01/2026 after arriving from a Cruise for a one night stay. These comments are directed at the hotel ownership and senior management! This hotel is advising new renovated rooms. Well if putting lipstick and a dress on a pig makes it a beauty pagent consistent, I guess it is. Carpets, counter tops and bathroom furnishings appear refreshed/new. Furniture is ratty, ie, the sofa looks like cats live here. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, no support, sags etc. The road noise is almost unbearable, my opinion, OLD windows. The ac/heaters (one in each room) when running, sounds like a diesel truck (loud and rattling). Even the repainted doors are peeling, other spots they didn't even patch, just painted over whatever. Great location for our family to meet up and stay prior to cruise. Clean and comfortable hotel, Friendly staff. Bella at front desk reception was very helpful and even made a special effort to express a birthday greeting to my husband. It helped to make his day extra special to be recognized. Thank you Bella. Michelle at front desk was also helpful at check-in and getting us setup with long-term parking. Great job team.
