Fountain Motel

This motel is absolutely lovely. The grounds and the room decor are warm and inviting. Everything worked iny room, from the shower to my phone and laptop with the wifi password. Tony and Cora were exceptional in the care they took welcoming their guests and getting all the check-in necessities done. In a place where there are a gazillion and one places to stay, I thank the Universe for this one. I would advise anyone looking for a great place to stay and peace and quiet, book yourself into this one. I will be coming back!

My daughter & I really enjoyed our time at the motel. It was very cute and loved the pool. Beach and boardwalk is about 2 blocks away which was nice. We wish the microwave was up to date and the bath towels were bigger (they're great for a toddler)-bring your own. Also the AC in our room did not feel super cold. And the ice machine needs fixed or maybe replaced, it's like water-ice and they charge .25. Not a big deal, kept our drinks cold for the day. Just one of the minor issues. I had a question and texted the owner (office was closed) and they replied pretty much right away which was nice! We had no issues and it was very quiet.

I stayed in room#16. The shower didn't work. It was like a mist. Ants in the room as well and the room is very outdated. They also charge for ice well, more like water ice. I went across the street to buy ice instead. The biggest issue is the noise from neighbors keeping me up both nights till 1:30am and the funny thing is that quiet hours are strictly enforced as you need to sign forms which apparently aren't. Find a better place to stay. The only thing good about this place is the location.

You’re going to wildwood not to spend the day in the room. You got a bed a fridge and bathroom. That’s all anyone needs lol. The people who work there are so nice and down to earth! The decor and plants around the property is what sold me. Most little spots don’t do this. But the owners take pride in there property you can tell. It was a very quiet stay we had no problems. Very close to the boardwalk and places to eat. I definitely will be booking with fountain motel next time I go down. Also the kindness started before I even got there! I booked through booking.com and it kept sending me alerts, but I couldn’t open it up because I don’t have an account with them the owner or someone that works there I’m not sure texted me and sent me an email with the documents which was super super nice.

We booked this hotel for the price, but certainly weren't disappointed by the location, quiet, and presentation. The hotel gives off a great natural quality with all the plants. They're very nice and certainly made it stand out among the many I've stayed at over the years. The pool was a decent size and has a very shallow end for the littles(1ft), up to 7ft deep. As far as the location, it was right up the street from the Wildwood ball sign. Also, right around the corner is the park. If you want to go to the beach, the conference center has a nice walkway that leads you right down to the beach. It also has a rinse off when your done.
