Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Stayed here 18 - 21 and 27/06 - 02/07. The hotel is suitable for anyone who loves a wonderful view and can tolerate noisy families with children and tired staff. They began by canceling the entire trip because there was no money in the account a week before arrival. However, the agreement was that it would be paid upon arrival. According to them, they had sent an email about this but to this day I have not seen this email. No good customer service. We still chose the hotel despite this because we had previously stayed at the hotel and thought the location was wonderful with a nice clientele that stayed at the hotel. But how it had changed, from a quiet hotel to a hotel filled with with families with children occupying the pool with a noise level that was heard all the way up to the 17th

This was our second time at this hotel, ocean view room with balcony and close proximity to the beach as well as central beach location seems to just work for us! Great size suites, fully stocked kitchen, great size bathroom with lots of storage, comfortable beds and Sauna were some of the highlights that made our stay great. Wifi & elevator were both slow, loud noise from the elevators woke us up in the mornings, broken hot tub and low water pressure were the main issues. That still being said, would definitely come back again!

I’ll start with the positives. The location is excellent. The one bedroom has a half bath so I don’t have to share with my husband 😀 Now the rest…. Very very dated. Clean but rustic. The internet is spotty. One of the tvs was streaming only and it kept buffering. 30 minute show took over an hour to watch. The water pressure is near zero and nothing drains well. The walls are paper thin. You hear everything! Someone pulled the fire alarm and we had to leave although most people did not so maybe it happens often We didn’t know how to work the safe so we asked at the desk and they said they “were not allowed” to tell us. No information was given when we checked in about cleaning or anything about what to expect. If you have no high expectations the location will do it f

Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. |Lobby and pool area were clean and well appointed. ||Hallway off elevator on 14th floor:|Same piece of toilet paper, piece of string, and monster can, stayed in the centre of the hallway for our entire stay. Still there when we checked out. There as a horrible smell constantly in the hall. So, cleanliness is lacking. ||Room: One bedroom Deluxe (1401)|Room was large. |Had one king in separate bedroom, one Murphy and one pullout in the living area. |Dishwasher hardly worked. |Room was very dated. |Pullout had springs sticking into back of the person sleeping on it. |Never had hot water for showers. It was consistently Luke warm. |Shower backed up almost every time we took a shower. |Overall old and not great. Would not call this room del

I'm ONLY rating this based on a 1 bedroom non-ocean view 14th fl ..... It was small the kitchen didn't have much at all for utensils ect we only got 3 towels to start and had to switch them out ourselves daily. ( I won't use a towel twice 😜) It's was clean. Bed comfortable. Location PERFECT. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
