Floridana Beach Motel

Floridana Beach Motel is diamond in the rough. It is a simple, clean, eclectic throw back from the fifties motel. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, making the motel feel like a home away from home. The location is a naturalist’s dream, just a few miles from the Archie Carr Refuge, Sea Turtle Conservancy, Wildlife Bird Sanctuary, and Hiking Trails. It is open year round and just across the street (A1A) from the ocean with beach access. This trip was so exciting. I hit the Trifecta one evening, experiencing; the Perseids Meteorite Shower, Sturgeon Full Moonrise, and a turtle laying her eggs. Other experiences include watching rockets go off from Cape Kennedy and fishing for dinner. It truly is an escape to a very relaxing pristine paradise.

The Floridana hotel was an excellent stay within walking distance to the beach. Earnie and Isa were amazing hosts and go out of their way to offer local recommendations and make you feel at home. The perfect place for a short or long term get a way!

This little gem has so much charm and is a taste of old Florida in the best way! The owner Isabella made me and my family feel like we were so so welcome . Her personal touch on the place is unmatchable. Don’t waste your money on an overly priced generic hotel ,enjoy a taste of real old world Florida with personal hospitality that you won’t find a match for this great price…right across the street from the beach!

Upon arrival, and up until my departure, I was immediately charmed by the friendly, helpful, down to earth couple that manage the motel. The eclectic, coastal atmosphere of the grounds was very condusive to relaxation. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the kitchenette accomodating. The nearby area was surrounded by nature with walking trails, the ocean just across the street and plenty of seafood restaurants. I can't wait to return!

I would not recommend the Floridana Beach Motel! I did not find my initial inquiry via phone with this establishment warm and welcoming. I would advise anyone considering a stay to inquire what FLORIDANA MOTEL'S "policies and restrictions" are prior to providing any further information or payment. PLEASE HEED TO THE REQUEST FOR MOTEL POLICIES, I myself was very taken aback upon disclosure of Floridana's policies and restrictions; truly alarming, hence, chose not to patronize this establishment!!!
