Florida SKP Resort

Members only, half price of any RV/Motorhome place around. 4th stay at an SKP since I joined 18 months ago. I like SKP parks so much, I'm getting on wait list to buy a leased spot in 3 of 4 I've stayed at. It's a Co-Op, so members and leaseholders are so involved, engaging and helpful with any logistics, RV/Motorhome services and advice. Instant community and comrades. I've stayed overnight in 2, a week in third, and a month booked in here in my 4th.

Amazing campground!! Very clean and nice community. Lot of sports and activities. The pool is heated and clean. The site are good. Grocery, stores and restaurants nearby (8 minutes). Very clean restrooms & showers. Nice laundry room. I recommend that campground 10/10. Friendly dogs with a dog park They are very welcome campgrounds!!

We made reservations in May and apparently they had a change in covid policy in October which they neglected to inform us about during the months in between. So when we arrived we were not allowed to do anything except quarantine the whole time we were there. The only way around it was to get covid tested but we were only there for 6 days and they weren't testing on the first four of those days. Other than that , although it is an older park it is in excellent condition. We were able to move our very large rig in and out without too much trouble. Everyone in the campground seem to be friendly as far as we were able to associate with them.

Escapees co-op (must be an Escapees member). Neat and clean park. Rentals daily, weekly, monthly. Friendly staff. Some permanent residents. Winter season activities (crafts, pickleball, shuffleboard, dances, dinners, etc.)

3/20/2024 Trinity did not understand what a 45 foot class a motorcoach is. She transferred me to Assistant Treasure Lisa. She said my coach was too heavy for any of their sites. Pics on Google show other class A's on concrete sites here. I've been full timing 3 yrs and this is first time I am told "coach is too heavy".
