Flagstone Motel

The staff/ owner was friendly. I had a cancelation on a leg of my trip that set me back a day. I called and talked to staff to move my prepaid reservation back a day. They did it no problem. Much appreciated. Clean rooms. Good location. Would stay again.

Check in with a man at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately that night around 9 p.m. things went sideways. Water and copious amounts of black hair suddenly started coming up into the bathroom sink. We promptly moved all of our belongings out of the bathroom so they wouldn’t get wet and I went to the front desk to tell them what was happening. The woman at the front desk told me she’d be right to our room. She promptly came to our room with another room key and told us she would move us to a room upstairs for the 2 days we were staying there. She confirmed that we could leave our remaining items in the first room for both days. We moved some of our items to the upstairs room and went to bed. The next morning we left our room for the day, not planning to return til later

Those photos are like a10 yrs out of date, going to be real w/ you. This looks like a roadside motor lodge if you know what I mean. Yes, there is road noise; but if you see the location on the main highway for the area know it's a given. There wasn't excessive noise, there was no nuisance. It was clean, the staff was a friendly and responded to requests. The location was good, the water was hot, the water pressure was good. We were there in October, it dropped to 28 the first night- so the heat worked well. The staff did bring an extra blanket as requested the first night (just in case, but it wasn't necessary). Booked three nights and right off didn’t like our room. The lady at the front desk was super nice and got us to pick another room which we liked better. The manager offered reimbursement if we found something else which we didn’t so we stayed there. Overall the room wasn’t the greatest for $200 @ night I expect better. Not worth the money. The location is close to restaurants and coffee shops and pier. The outside is kept clean. Our toilet was wobbly and the sink water was minimal. Kind of annoying. The shower was great pressure but would change temp I guess someone was using at the same time water. There was no hair dryer but they gave us one to use.
