Fishing Lodge Cabin - Lazy Trout Cabin

Seriously amazing cabin! Beautiful in ever square inch of this cabin! The owners Ted and Nancy also run a cool store in town called the Lazy Trout Market! We love them and love Greer!

The owner DID NOT have his calendar set up to block unavailable dates. We booked dates, received confirmation, purchased airline tickets, then he messaged ( did not even call in person) and said those dates were already booked. He offered earlier dates but because we had airline tickets we could not change. He said this was difficult for him too ( which was ridiculous) and blamed it all on AirBNB. He was not helpful unless we were willing to change our travel dates which would mean the added expense of more non refundable tickets. Overall, a very bad introduction to AirBNB. To be fair, AirBNB said it was his responsibility and not helpful themselves. We will not recommend either to friends and family. S Rourke

This place is easily accessible, but off the beaten path. It seemed to have everything from a functional hot tub, right down to having tinfoil and coffee filters. Place was clean and secure with satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.

The Lazy Trout lodge is awesome!! Big enough for up to 10 peeps!! Alot of extra amenities!! Jacuzzi and fire pit!! Very nice!! Book online even!!

The property needs updating and the Jacuzzis that we paid for was broken. The owner would not discount the price. It could be a really great place.
