Fireplace Lodging at Mt. Rainier

Check all reviews on all sites for these people. I booked a cabin from them and it was dirty and run down! Broken windows that would not open, dirty bathroom and kitchen. Mouse droppings in cabinets/drawers, rugs had not been vacuumed from previous guests, all cooking utensils and pots were filthy and scratched/ruined. The yard was stacked with piles of branches and debris, 3 foot high weeds, deck had thorny weeds and nowhere to sit. They refuse to respond, then tried to charge my card for deposit almost a week after I checked out. Believe the negative reviews!

We had an amazing time! Cute place with an awesome Lil park across the road. The hostess were amazing. Very kind and with great communication. We went on a 3 mile walk while here and it was awesome seeing all the cute houses and talking to some of the neighbors. They were all really kind :) we will be back!! We want to stay in all 3 cabins.

Had a very comfy time at the cabin. My husband and I have a 17 month old son and it was very nice to have a place so close to Mount Rainer. We were able to get to the park early to avoid traffic and have a convenient place to return during the day for naps and to refresh. Clarissa and Stephen were very gracious hosts and checked in on us (via text ) to make sure we were comfortable.

I travel a fair amount for business and pleasure - this was by far the worst place I stayed at. It was not the romantic place portrayed in the pictures. On check-in I was given a hard time because I arrived 8 minutes early. I was then given a brochure from the ALMOST PARADISE owner listing offenses I would be charged for . One of them was staining the sheets. Ironically, at bedtime we noticed a bloodstain on the sheet and when I emailed the company they acknowledged the stain (they knew about it) but said the sheets had been cleaned. 2. The unit was hot. I tried to open a window however small bugs got in - We ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed 3. The hot tub was grungy and unusable (i tried but my wife would not go in)- there was black mold present 4. There

What a great little place! Clarissa the host is literally the nicest human and the cabin is so cute and cozy. You are so close to Mt. Rainer and it was perfect coming back to relax in the hot tub after a day of snowshoeing! Definitely recommend if yer looking to get away for a weekend💜
