Fiddler's Resort

Abby was our amazing server. So full of joy. There to celebrate my birthday. There on a Monday, quiet, great decor. If we're back in the area would love to go back when they have live music. Onion ring loaf was great as well as the shrimp and grits that I had. Presentation was lovely as well.

My husband and I stayed with our daughter. We originally booked the room for 2 nights but ended up cutting our losses and leaving the next day. When we walked in, all we could smell was mildew/mold and I noticed 2 large areas where the carpet was black with little black spots everywhere. I needed to heat up a bottle but there wasn't a microwave, which is 100% okay, so I used the coffee pot to get some hot water. There were still bags of coffee in the filter part so they obviously didn't clean very well. Bathroom wasn't clean, there was some sort of dirt (i guess) on the lampshade. The mattresses are basically plywood they're so hard, whatever, I can handle that. What I can't handle is all the mold and uncleanliness. Our room was nice and clean. We walked across the street and ate and drank at Fiddler's Restaurant and Bar. The food, service and personnel were excellent. We had a Great time. I and my friend will definitely go again.

Came early and they made an exception and let us in early really nice room and the restaurant had great food friendly staff

The rooms were nice, the furniture was cheap, but in good repair, the restaurant was excellent
