Good Times Motel & Marina

This motel is a series of tiny homes directly on the Steinhatchee River in Steinhatchee, Florida. Steinhatchee is a fishing town in the big bend of Florida. It is still recovering from hurricanes of the past two years. The cabins are only two years old and have two or three bedrooms with a loft. My group rented a two bedroom cabin that comfortability accommodated four men. It has all of the amenities you would expect in an apartment. Though it is a tiny house, the appliances are standard size. We were in the town for two days of fishing. One thing we loved is that we could step outside and fish behind our cabin. Doesn't really have a vacation kind of vibe. If it were mine and all, maintenance would step their game up a bit. Many small but, noticably incomplete tasks need finishing, landscaping would certainly warm it up a bit, with a small doggie area perhaps. It has possible safety risks near the ramp and sea wall so just keep an eye on your kids. I'm sure it's just been hectic since the hurricane and they already do so great at keeping quality cleaning and customer service standards which are a plus. The staff works very well and are very accommodating. It just needs to have a more impressionable maintenance crew to improve noticable details that would make a big difference in any first impressions..

Nice clean log cabin style tiny house trailer cabin stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Midweek was quiet. Friendly staff. Restaurant onsite. Beside the river could hear the boats. Plenty of hot shower water and fluffy towel a. TV and internet connect worked well.

We absolutely would recommend this place to anyone who's loves seafood (fresh) omg! The bomb and within 1 min walking distance. So convenient and well above experience we ever had at a place unique as this.

Walked in, killed a cockroach, half the lights didn't work, couch was fairly new but looked (and felt) like it was bought at a discount store. My wife said, at least I can take a shower, there was no hot water. Ate dinner at their restaurant, just OK and a long way from worth the $120 it cost for 3 people. I know they are still dealing with hurricane damage. But most of the issues I had with them had nothing to do with the hurricane.
