The Sunset Place Resort

This is a generous 3 star review. The good: close to the marina, great view of the water, there is a pool, games for the kids, fire pit and grill. The bad, we had multiple issues with our room which was a bummer, a lot of the games were broken, the grills were falling apart and the firepit needs a refresh. At the end of the day our room was the biggest issue so I’m sorry I have to give a poor review.

We have now stayed at Sunset place three times and loved every one of them. Great location, Great view, clean units, and super friendly staff. There was a huge group of us and they took great care of each and every one of us.

Arrived with my wife last Wednesday for a little R&R. We had never been to Steinhatchee before and really didn't know what to expect. Wow! We were blown away by the view. It was the main reason we chose this hotel but didn't realize it was so spectacular. Even the nighttime view with the blinking channel marker lights was great. We spent countless hours on the balcony just enjoying the ocean breeze and cocktails! Loved the crystal clear and warm pool. The staff was polite with a warm southern twang and Brian helped us with getting a rental boat from Sea Hag Marina right down the street. We are boating novices( I'm sure it showed) and Brain would see us coming in to dock and he would rush down to help us ,whew! As far as the room went ,we were put into #199, it was like opening a page in

The location was perfect. We stayed one week and would have stayed longer, if possible! The condo was perfect. Everything we needed was there, very comfortable and great view. very relaxing, just what we were looking for. The staff was more than accommodating, very personable. Angela, Jessica and Brian are amazingly awesome! The pool was very crisp and inviting. Will definitely come back. I highly recommend the Sunset Place

Been staying here for years. New management has Sunset Place in the best shape it has ever been. Pool is crystal clear. Rooms clean as a whistle. Brian was so helpful with the dock being at full capacity during scallop season. They don’t charge for the slips, so it’s super crowded! We just love Sunset Place!
