False River Hotel

On the surface this looks like a nice place. It looks modern and the people are nice, but that’s where the good ends. The elevator doesn’t work, or at least we were told it didn’t. There are no signs saying it does not work. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The ice machine is out on the second floor. For three days there was the same junk on the floor inside the stairwell. Speaking of stairwell, the regular side doors didn’t work with the cards so the stairwell door was open to the public the whole time we were there. Only one small trashcan in the room. It was in the bathroom. The remote didn’t work. I went and got batteries from the front desk and the remote still didn’t work. The room smelled like mold. The towels were super thin and scratchy instead of soft. One even had stains. Only sheets on the beds. No comfo

Security lock broke on room door. Ask for another room. No rooms, but website showed differently. “They are unbookable” means they are crap! Parking lot empty! Ceiling has been repaired and horrible.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, amazing staff, and any questions or concerns I had Mr. Willie assisted immediately! Fresh fully stocked breakfast bar every morning and great location! This is our third time booking, and we will continue to recommend this location! 👌

Rooms are fairly spacious. Rooms were not dirty, but could have been a bit cleaner. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast options were limited, but available items were decent. Good basic hotel to rest and recharge.

Checked in around 2 pm on 2/01/2025. We were on the way to an event so we didn’t leave our bags, when we returned after the event(around 6 pm) we went to the room. It had a “do not disturb “ on the handle. We thought the cleaning staff left it and but the card key in it worked my husband went in, bed was unmade so we went down to the front desk. When a work showed up we were given another room. Cleaning staff needs to clean a little better, room wasn’t not as clean as it should be with people in and out every night. This morning (02/02/2025) we went down and checked out my husband took our bag to the car we went to get breakfast (see photos). Several employees were sitting there socializing.
