Cypress Inn

By far the best deal in the area and it is VERY clean. Sam is a great host and will quickly resolve any of your nitpickiness like he did for me and my coworker. We live in these motels for a living as we work a 7-state territory. The company requires us to find the best motel for the money and safety and this place is it for this side of False River. We'll always stay here when we work this area in the future.

Stayed here three nights over Thanksgiving to visit family. Very basic hotel with few/no amenities. We did not leave our room the first morning, Thanksgiving day, until about 9:00am, and had our Do Not Disturb sign up until we did leave as Housekeeping was already on duty. They never came to clean our room that day and were around early cleaning the rooms on the other days. I guess they took the sign as a permanent direction. There is a new hotel under construction nearby that we will likely look into for future stays.

I had bites. I was bitten all over. I had bed bugs. They? Gave me a different room and there was roaches all over no refund. Said they would give me a refund but did not receive a refund.

I’m not going to rate this place by their sanitation because I was not here when they wiped down counters or anything. But I am going to say I saw dust on lights, ac unit, chairs & lamp shades. The dust seemed to be settled from months ago. I saw two roaches on my stay here (they should try to do a thorough bug infestation control). I didn’t check for beg bugs for I was scared to find them. The person that received me was nice, polite & seemed to take their time for my check in. I was in a hurry to get my babies to bed after a long ride & that kind of irked me. Other than that my experience was eh here.

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! Bugs were literally crawling the walls and the room smelled TERRIBLE! They do not even deserve 1 star. We walked into the room and IMMEDIATELY walked out. HELL NO! NEVER AGAIN!
