Falcon's Nest

Location is beautiful! We loved riding our 4 wheelers in the pines. Would not stay in Falcon's Nest cabins again. NEEDS TO BE CLEANED! I'm positive the cabin itself has not been cleaned in years. Dust and what looked like bugs caked the light fixtures and curtains. Appliances and other things in the kitchen were grimy and looked like they had never been wiped down. I actually washed the dishes in the cabinet before using them. There were mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the couch. When walking into the bathroom I was hit in the face with a spider web. I'm not sure what the $50 cleaning fee is for. I guess they just gather towels and change the sheets.

When my family and I were planning our trip, we looked all over for a place to stay in Duck Creek. We read all the reviews for each location. When we got to the Falcons Nest Reviews we noticed that almost every one spoke of the top quality of service they received by the management and employees. This was no different for us. We had a late check-in, and the manager stayed up late to greet us.She was kind and had an infectious smile, which is rare, since I am sure that we woke her up at midnight. When we got to our Cabin, I was dumbfounded by how lovely it was. These are cute and cozy cabins. We could see and smell that they were clean. Duck Creek Utah is Beautiful!!! The Falcons Nest Cabins are rustic & "scenic"(?) ... On The Outside. We Visited the cabins from August 5th - 7th. We Stayed In Cabin #8 And While It Could Have Been A Very Nice Visit, It Most Assuredly Wasn't!!! The woman who checked us in was Unwelcoming, Unfriendly, and Timid, claiming she was "Housekeeping". The "Office " looks like a Snowmobile/Off-Road Vehicle Parts Room & Repair Shop. Based Upon Our Cabin, She Is Seriously Overpaid!!! Based On Previous Reviews Of This Property and Its Guests, It Appears If You Have Any Complaints They Just Ask You To Leave!!! While basic appliances were present, the microwave had to be re-cleaned by us, along with the toaster, which was filled with crumbs. The patterned sheets on one of the beds felt as thou

They charged $50 "cleaning" fee. Did not disclose this fee. Plus, the cleaning is clearly not being done. Visibly dirty sheets. They are following the unethical Airbnb practice of charging all kinds of additional fees. I won't stay there again, and it's too bad. Kitchen garbage can has had a crack for a long time. It is obviously the same can as last year, which had the same crack. Dirty cabins 6 and 8. Everything feels "sticky". Been staying here for years but they still have the same bed spreads after ten years. I hope they will upgrade and improve because as it stands, this is UNACCEPTABLE. They need to refund the cleaning fee and stop that nonsense.
