Alpine Forest Lodge

It's a great old cabin with lots of character. Tons of rooms for big groups. Setting is right in the heart of this little mountain town. But that also makes it a little noisy and parking for large groups could be tricky. If you are looking for quite and isolation choose another cabin. If your looking for walking distance to restaurants and fishing this is a great spot. This cabin has lots of potential, unfortunately it's not well maintained. Plumbing was an ongoing issue, broken showers, backed up sinks, shower heads falling off. Mildew smell in several bathrooms. Carpet was worn and torn. Outdoor carpet on the deck was dirty and worn out. Generally clean but their were cobwebs in the hard to reach places. We had a great time here and I would recommend it to certain people. We rented Alpine Forest Lodge for our 25th anniversary vow renewal for family and friends and would do it all over again! Absolutely beautiful lodge and stocked with everything you would need. There were 29 of us and we had more than enough room and all the necessities needed to be comfortable. The owners are incredible! Charles even brought over extra chairs for our outside festivities. Thank you so much Charles and Laurene for our new Mountain "home"!

This cabin was very spacious and more than accommodated 5 families for a reunion. The backyard had a horseshoe pit and was spacious enough to throw frisbees, balls and play other games together. I was expecting weather and surroundings to be similar to the red desert of southern Utah, but was pleased to find it was evergreen forests and pleasant temperatures, even in late July.

Loved it! Charles is an excellent host and willing to answer my millions of questions. Thank you. We had an amazing family reunion. Located in the heart of Duck Creek Village. Walking distance to stores and shops.

Mostly fine except everything is cheaply repaired and falling apart: the thin toilet paper you will tear through when you wipe, the extra tiny toilets, the main room couch is breaking, the leak in plumbing from upstairs dripping into the bedroom below, and the septic tank leaking in the grass out back.
