Fairway Village

We own/owned a week in this Resort for many years and now they are going bankrupt so we just lose our deeded week that we paid for? I don't understand how they can do this to any deeded owners. We still enjoy visiting Craft Brewery when we are in the area. I grew up vacationing here every year at Shawnee Fairway and have an abundance of wonderful memories including with my parents and family members that are no longer with us. Their memories are strong and still linger in our villa. I see here that they are now listed as a hotel, not a resort. How sad. Seems unfair to just take a deed away that we paid for and were told we will own forever and pass down to our children or grandchildren.

It's nice being down close to the river but the music from the restaurant that was about 100 yards away was a little loud. And a wilderness area. I expect quiet which the neighbors normally are.

I stayed at Fairway Village, among the farthest away options from Wyndham's check-in and reception area (where the indoor pool, gym and activities are). I stayed in a middle unit. The cheap construction of these townhouses becomes apparent when you hear the floor LOUDLY creaking from above and beside you from other guests and even from your own footsteps. The TV/cable in the main bedroom didn't get all the channels that the living room TV got, even after, when I Eventually figured out the bedroom TV cable wire was bad which is part of why the channel/service was poor. Not all light switches worked and the outlets were lacking & in inconvenient places. The couch was severely sagging on the middle cushion. This is our favorite of all the villages. Ths setting is very beautiful. We love the look of the buildings because they look like houses and we're not modern which makes it so much better. We didn't like the shower as the water only stayed hot for maybe 2 min and then turned ice cold every time. We didn't like the 2 beds and would rather like 1 king bed. bedroom was very warm. Also no full length mirror. The parking was also far for 30F. The tvs were very small. The kitchen has everything you would need. Very quiet and peaceful and close to so many things. They will bug you however until you do a owner's update which we kindly said no.

Liked this set up. Bedroom and full bathroom downstairs and another set upstairs with 2 beds and sitting and table and chairs upstairs.
