Fairholme Campground

Campsite was beautiful. Went with site 86, right on the water. I researched on forums ahead of time and that is definitely my top pick as long as you don’t mind the walk to the site. You can walk into the water from there instead of having to take this really long path down to the docks. One of the negatives though is that the sites are all very densely packed and they are spread out across different leveled tiers, meaning there are hills between each level. Site 86 is at the very bottom - three levels down. Not ideal at all. Especially for bringing your camping gear to the site. Also we arrived in the dark and it was extremely difficult to find. There should really be a map there. There may have been up near the bathrooms but I’m not sure. But mind you, the bathrooms are a fourth level up

This place had a nice view, and lake side campsites get really close to the water but if you want to get something from your car or use the bathroom, you have to walk through a steep slope. The bathroom was not that clean. There are plenty of running water faucets throughout the campsite. Shared bear safe

We stayed here a few weeks ago, it was very clean and easy to get to. Absolutely beautiful views and access to the lake (although the store was already closed for the season- so we couldn't rent kayaks which was very disappointing) The ONLY thing I can say after reading some reviews about the place... it is QUIET!!! Like too quiet... people were saying the noise from the road was too loud, uh yeah because that's literally all you can hear because the campground is as quiet as a fly🤣🤣 I swear after 6pm not a single noise was being made for the rest of the night, you could hear someone cough, laugh, a baby cry... we felt bad TALKING at 8pm. We wanted to play our music quietly but didn't- feeling like we'd annoy someone. Also the noise from the road is not that loud🫡 For some people this migh

Lake Crescent is by far my #1 favorite lake in Washington State. It is the most beautiful lake that we have here in WA. There are many amenities to do around this area, such as paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, ebiking, and hiking. You can rent the paddleboard, kayak, and bike if you need to. This campground offers shaded campsites with FF sites that I think seem to be the best sites because they are right next to the lake. The only problem is that you would have to take a short walk down to the site to pitch your tent. Bring a wagon, it'll make your loading and unloading so much more efficient. I think campsite 90 is the best site. There are flushable toilets and water faucets. No showers.

Really beautiful campground on the shores of Lake Crescent. The beach is a great place to swim and kayak, and there is a campground store that is pretty well-equipped with the essentials. The campsites were beautiful, in the middle of the ferny forest (size of each campsite varies greatly). The only thing we could wish for were showers and a playground for the kids.
