Fairfield Inn Myrtle Beach North

Beds/great. Rooms clean 2star. They need work and updates. Hotel over all is in need of some TLC. Staff is perfect! Great smiles and help. The food bar was clean however, we got down there around 8 and eggs gone and couldn’t make more. Oatmeal well, it was dried up! Whoever the lady that runs it was so kind. This is a no return for me.

Stay here twice a year before our time share vacations in NMB. Hotel is always clean, quiet, and the staff is outstanding. Our room had a brand new king mattress which we were the first guests to use. The mattress was thick, firm and comfortable. Breakfast is good too.

While we understand that it is standard practice in hotel industry to charge for full amount of stay including a hold for incidentals, what I don't understand still is why an additional charge was made to our bank card during the 2nd day of our stay. While it was acknowledged as an error--forget getting an "I'm sorry", just be prepared to cover additional expenses in this instance. Hotel was okay...not the best Fairfield I have stayed at, not the worst. There are no suites at this location so reserving a room with expectations of upgrading should not be considered. We had a king room with a sofa bed and it was a very tight fit when we pulled the bed out for our son. (Did I mention we found a pair of ladies panties when we did?) Purely here to brag on Alena and Steward! I travel often for work and it amazes me the lack of customer care and personality the staff can have. These 2 individuals specifically were so warm and inviting, kind and you could just feel the good energy they had while doing their jobs. If my travels bring me back to the area, I’d stay at this hotel simply because of these 2 individuals! Thank you both for always welcoming my team and I with bright smiles and good energy!

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the last couple of years. During that time I’ve had rooms with varying degrees of “bed comfort.” This most recent one had a very noticeable channel down the middle of the sleeping surface. It felt like I was going to “fall in” the crease. The exterior of the building along with the landscape and parking area are great. The provided breakfast is always very nice and the dining area equally good. The variety of food and options is very accommodating.
