Fairfield Inn Myrtle Beach Broadway at the Beach

Have stayed here many times but this was the first time with a suite. Although the extra space was wonderful, the furnishings were not. The bed sagged in so many places that I moved to couch during the night. The couch however was not better, having huge sags in it also. Room needed serious updating of furnishings. Also, it was so damp that wet bathing suits did not dry while on hangers for 48 hours! I heard this complaint from other guests at the hotel. The breakfast hostess was quite rude. When asked where the water was, having seen pitchers at other Fairfields, she just walked over to the juice machine and pressed the water spout and looked at me. She never said a word. Other guests noticed that rude behavior.

The room smelled horrible. We asked the front desk twice to spray the room. The second time they did and it masked most of the smell. The water pressure in the shower was awful. I could hear our neighbors talking clearly. Most of the front desk attendants were disconnected from guests and not helpful. Breakfast was ok but cold. I stay in Marriotts often and this location left much to be desired. Good location is not enough.

Can't complain so far ...lots of parking...prepaid and accidental is $20/day. Fast check in and comfy beds...books double queen suite...2 TVs, full living room couch enough for 4...and lots of lights. Older building but given the price, it's a good deal coupled with free breakfast, pool and hot tub (didnt use though) and 10mins drive from the beach...30 mins walk

Excellent location near many awesome attractions. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff here have been very kind, warm, and definitely demonstrate hospitality. I'll be back here next time!
