Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Uncasville Mohegan Sun Area

We had a great experience. Stayed 2 nights for Creed concert and New Year's Eve at Mohegan. Room was clean, staff very nice and helpful. Bonus for the free shuttle and extra bonus for extended breakfast hours on New Years Day for us late night revelers. Only negative was one of the two elevators was out of service.

As a silver elite member and frequent guest at this location, my last experience on Friday Nov 14 will be my last. I previously booked the room with a rate of about 350 dollars and re-booked at a lower rate to receive the more affordable rate. I attempted to cancel the reservation but was denied on the app, receiving a message I couldn't complete the request for several attempts. I tried to explain this at check-in and was told by Katie I had to request the refund. To make a long story longer, I was told they couldn't cancel the charge and I suggested to take half and refund the other half. Not a chance! She chose to put profit over loyalty informing me each location is independently owned. I informed her I will choose to avoid this location altogether in the future and losing a valuable c

my room was exceptional; i waited too long to book so i ended up with a suite. it was large, clean, and very comfortable. i stayed here because i was going to a concert at the mohegan. there is a shuttle running constantly from 4 - midnight, which is very convenient. i wish breakfast ran until 10 instead of 9.30, but i'd definitely stay here again !

We recently stayed at the hotel for an event in the nearby area. The building itself is a bit tired, the elevators and soft furnishings could use a refresh. Only one elevator was working when we stayed there. The reason for the four star review though is that I was really impressed by the cleanliness of our room. It was obvious that the cleaning staff had done a thorough job. The bedding was clean and nicely made up. I always bring wipes to wipe down table surfaces, door knobs, etc in my hotel rooms, and I was impressed that the wipes came away clean looking with no visible dirt. As one other review mentioned the lighting in the bathroom isn't super bright, so I would suggest bringing a travel makeup mirror if that is important to you. Welcoming hotel lobby and staff. Thoughtful gifts of bottle water and mints for guests. Clean and well maintained room. Bathroom was spacious and clean.
