Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tallahassee Central

This is an older property. No mobile key. Could benefit from some updating- worn carpets and damage to the walls in the hallway. The lobby and dining area is nice. The front desk people are very courteous. The hotel location is a little difficult to see but it’s in a nice, quiet area. The beds are comfortable. Lots of pillows. Rooms are clean. Feels safe.

Positive: Location Negative: The A/C was out in the lobby making it warm and stuffyThe pool which was supposed to be heated was freezing!The elevator was a little concerning as it jolted us before opening the doors at our floor.

We checked in on 11/18/2025, and as part of inspecting our rooms before we unpacked…. This is what we found under the mattress cover. Definitely blood. As we were walking out, we showed the on-duty manager the same photos I posted and he was nonchalant about it, said he understood why we were checking out. They did provide a refund… which is the only positive. Just skip this place all together. So gross.

Close to I10, with a nice Greek restaurant next door. Quiet with comfortable beds. Pet friendly with a station for waste. Dog treat given to our pup on check in. Breakfast was ample and good. Excellent coffee. Pet fee is $75.

We were our way to Disney and got tired a little after midnight and needed to rest. So glad we found this place. The front desk clerk was very sweet and accommodating and provided us with extra towels and linens without having to ask. We got the last two bedroom queen suite with a pullout couch and it was perfect for our family. Beds slept good and everything was clean. Shower was wonderful with great water pressure and I loved the bath products. We were checking out around 8:30 and breakfast ended at 9 so the eggs and sausage were a little sparse and we decided to go elsewhere to eat. But not before grabbing some delicious Otis Spunkmeyer muffins for later. Seems like they had plenty of things to choose from otherwise. 😋 All in all a wonderful visit and we would definitely stop again if n
