Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Raynham Middleborough/Plymouth

Positive: Staff was friendly and it was very close by to our event. On the very surface without looking at anything in depth, it looked nice. Negative: It was dirty. The first floor smelled moldy and damp like a moldy basement and so did our rooms. We were moved from one room that was horrible to a 2nd room that was a bit less moldy and damp. There was trash under bed too. No trash bags/soap in our room.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Raynham Middleborough/Plymouth and had a very good experience overall. The property is currently undergoing renovations, and it’s clear that improvements are well underway. My room featured new carpeting and fresh paint, which gave it a clean, modern feel. While the furniture appeared to be from an earlier design and there was no artwork on the walls yet, the space was still comfortable and well-kept.||The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, offering a warm welcome and great customer service throughout my stay. They are renovating it and it will be beautiful! Our room was very nice, love the decor... Toilet was making toilet sounds none stop, but it is a working progress... I love the concrete looking tiles in the foyer... It is perfectly located when we visit family!

So I am not sure what it is about this place; but here’s my review. I stay here frequently. About 75% of the time I am here I wake up to the sounds of a couple “enjoying themselves” rather loudly. The other night I was here they were in the room above me. Other times it’s been the room next to me. And no, it’s not a dream or a nightmare. I am wondering if this place is on some sort of local registry as a “cheating spot” or if it’s just an aphrodisiac. Otherwise, nice place. Needs some updating but it’s clean and it is ideally located. If you’re a couple looking to get romantic, apparently this is the place to do it! One last thing, while some of the guests are apparently doing their cardio in their rooms it would be good to have more treadmills that work well. Get some new ones

I stayed at this hotel for seven nights December 2025. I had prepaid and nowhere when I booked it say this hotel was under renovation or remodel. For context I am a Marriott Bonvoy member with over 49th state this year alone. I’ve stayed that many different brands under the Marriott portfolio, but this one wasn’t the best. The staff wasn’t very friendly. Breakfast options were sparse and only had a nice spread one of the days. I was there on a seven night stay and the refrigerator in the room was frozen over. If you take a steamy hot shower, you will set off the smoke detectors in your room and it was under construction while we were there. You can’t sit in the lobby with a breakfast area after breakfast to do work or relax outside of your room there’s no common areas like other Marriot
