Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Perry Georgia National Fairgrounds

I have stayed at many Marriott properties, and while most are satisfactory, this location was truly superb. As a new build connected to the fairgrounds, the facility is exceptionally clean. The breakfast quality also stood out compared to other locations. Everything from the pork sausage to the scrambled eggs was juicy, hot, and fresh. This may be due to the proximity of the neighboring fairground and agricultural farm. I also noticed the kitchen staff frequently checking the buffet lines to ensure quality, which is a level of attention I rarely see at other hospitality entities. This is a must-visit location whenever you are in the area.

So I finally got to stay at this hotel at the fairgrounds and it was very worth the one night stay. As you enter the lobby your treated to music. The lobby has plenty of sitting places and tables. It has a bar as well that serves food and drinks. The lobby also has grocery vending were you can get food out of the cooler and other necessities. Outdoors is lots of chairs and tables as well as a pool and attached hottub. The pool also has a small waterfall fountain. Right now neither or open yet. The hotel has 4 stories and the Fairfield Marriott is on one side and Townhouse Suites on the other. I got Room 431 on the 4th floor. It has a nice view of the interstate and lights at night. It has a desk,large screen tv lamps,a closet with an iron,ironing board etc. The room also has a microwave

Our family stayed one night at this brand new hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were pitch black when closing the curtains at night. Could not hear the highway at all. We did hear a bit of our neighbors talking in the hallway, but nothing that was disrupting, overall, pretty quiet and we slept through the night with no problem. The room with two queen beds was spacious, room temp was good, shower was good, and bed sheets were nice and crisp. We didn't get to go to the pool, but it seems really nice and had some nice chairs to chill. The gym was well equipped, even had a Peloton. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, really pleasant stay. Horrible! We had issues from the start with our check in. The room is small, there is no clock, the outlets don’t work. The breakfast was cold. Most hotels provide flavored cream for coffee but of course this one did not. We will never stay here again in our travels to Florida.

Nice hotel next to the fairgrounds. Great service – staff found my misplaced wallet, and after I sent them a prepaid label, they packed it neatly and safely in a box and shipped it to my house. Thank you for your great service. See you next time.
