Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Orlando at Millenia

On arrival was told could not check in because res was under my wife’s name. Had to get a new reservation at 1.20 am after 3.5 hour drive. Kid behind desk said she could get in trouble! For taking care of a guest-really. My drivers license has same name and address and my poor wife spent 20 minutes on the telephone adding my name and reconfirming it was done 3 times earlier the same evening. I called my wife at 1.20am and put her on speaker to try and resolve but she was then directed to the bonvoy app to send a message. Marriott used to be gold standard for empowering their employees. It’s hard to recover from a poor arrival experience like this. Newer property. I spent 6.5 hours at hotel. Disappointing that what could have been a positive experience was not.

Business traveler alert from Titanium Elite member*** Decent rooms but poor operational experience. I left an expensive electronics item when I checked out (shame on me). Upon returning home called the hotel and front desk says nothing was reported by housekeeping (hmmm?). Escalate to manager, Emanuel, who was completely unconcerned or helpful. Did not return calls as promised and did nothing to help the situation. Item was never recovered (again, hmmm?). This is a reflection on poor management. Staying at a hotel is more than a clean bed. It's also about trust.

Spent two nights at this hotel, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Orlando.

The water pressure of the shower is too small. The breakfast is too simple. The manager of the hotel is not professional at all. He tried everything he can to tell the reason why he can’t do the thing for customer, and how sorry he is, he is incapable to find a solution for customer. I don’t think he’s qualified for this job. This is a Marriott system. Ridiculous.

This has been a wonderful experience! Form letting us check in early with no issues, to the wonderfully nice and polite staff. The breakfast in the morning is just perfect, and the little things that most places don't do anymore like coffee and tea bar open 24/7. Cleanliness is on point, their house staff is amazing and always smiling! The location is perfect for us to get to the parks, as we do all of them, but manly because we rent a car on our vacations. This Fairfield by Marriott is a home run with us and we do travel several times a year. I never say I would stay again in a place but we will be back to this one when we return to Orlando.
