Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Milledgeville

Room was alright. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Bathroom had tile missing. Check in wasn't easy. They didn't know what bereavement was, not only bereavement fare. Didn't get recognition for bonvoy status. Not what I have come to expect by Marriott.

The hotel was nice. The room was clean, sheets and towels were white, and only a couple of minor stains on the wall that I are not very noticeable. The bed was comfortable. The tub flooring was peeling a little bit, which made me think it had likely been refinished at some point. The walls were completely bare. Other than the tub and lack of decor, no complaints. Honestly, a little bit of art would have made the room feel homey as it really was clean and comfortable otherwise. The staff were kind and quick. It is definitely worth the value. They even had a nice indoor pool!

Do not stay here.||||Mold and mildew in the rooms, filthy carpets that were not vacuumed, food stains on carpeting by the nightstands and bed, dead bugs around the air conditioning unit, stains on surfaces, debris on furniture like the sofa, hair on the toilet, etc. You get the idea. ||||While the outside of the hotel looks good and the lobby feels renovated or refreshed, the rooms are awful. I had two separate rooms before I left for another hotel. Both rooms had the exact same issues.||||Do not stay here.

Let me just say this was the worst customer service and experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I traveled over 15 hrs. When we got there it was around 3am. The front desk associate proceeded to to check us in everything seemed fine. Once we made our payment and walked into our room she calls us and says…(I forgot to tell you guys that our water is off due to something out of their control and there isn’t any running water. I cant give you a refund but you can speak with a manager in the morning.) I was so upset because the manager on duty was a black woman and was very nasty and unprofessional. The general manager stated that she would reach out to us the next day and make things right. However we have not heard anything back from her at all. On top of it all they had ladybugs falling f

We arrived and received our keys by Val. I asked for late check out because we were there to attend a field party and we knew we get back in the wee hours of the morning. We arrived in the room and the toilet water was red. The sink water was also. I let it go thinking it just a lil rust. Fast forward to 3am. We’re all muddy and needed to shower. The shower water didn’t get warm nor hot. Welp, cold shower it is!!! The internet didn’t work and breakfast was served with expired milk. When I checked out, I told the front t desk about the cold water. She proceeds to say. Oh they didn’t tell you when you checked-in that the water heater went out and the city can’t come out til Monday. She stated a few rooms had hot water and we should’ve said something earlier and she would’ve moved
