Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hendersonville Flat Rock

My husband and I chose the Fairfield Inn for reasons 99% of those seeking a hotel would not consider. A very serious ice/snow storm was forecasted for our area and, as we don’t have a generator at our home, we needed to find a hotel on a main road that might not lose power. Due to their reviews and location, we chose to stay at the Fairfield for three days. While power went out at our home for over 25 hours, the power and the internet at the Fairfield remained in place. We had selected a room with a king bed. The room was tastefully decorated with ample sources to charge our electronics. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. My husband and I took an overnight trip to the mountains to hopefully see come colorful leaves and to get some fall apples. We chose this Fairfield based on the reviews, location, photos and the price. After a great day of sightseeing around downtown Hendersonville we checked into the hotel in the late afternoon. I think it was Amanda who checked us in. She was so personable and welcoming! The lobby area is so modern and comfortable looking. She got us checked in and let us know the breakfast times. I asked if we could request a room on an upper floor and she had already taken care of that for us. We had reserved a mountain view room and being on the 4th floor was great. Positive: The breakfast provided had some healthy options and a few gluten free options as well. Negative: The front desk staff didn't stay at the desk in the mornings. Often times, they would go into the office and guests would have to go behind the desk and peek into the office to get their attention. Having a bell would be helpful.

One of the best Fairfield locations I have ever stayed at. Large rooms in good condition with comfortable beds. Friendly staff and a good quality complementary breakfast. Convenient to the highway without too much noise. I would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular visit. The check in was awesome the desk agent was amazing. Hotel is clean, fresh and up to date. Great value, clean, comfortable and friendly.
