Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas Cedar Hill

Krystal was real rude who is the assistant general manager and Mark who’s her manager was very rude as well. The young man Carl that works over night is really nice. Our room was filthy the first night had an odor and was not clean. I appreciate Carl helping us trying to accommodate us but those rooms were nasty as well. Carl helped out a lot just by trying. Our original room smelt like someone had sex in it and bathroom was dirty still had hair inside of it. Need better housekeeping. This is a place I would not stay only because you get told one thing and they do another and the managers also did not comp my room for that first night after I told Krystal and mark. This place needs better management as well because this is by far the worst Fairfield Inn I done stayed and they still trying

Ive been anxious to try this newer Fairfield as it was better located than other Marriott properties i normally stay at in the area. Unfortunately I must report this Fairfield will NOT be getting my business going forward and Ill stay at other Marriotts in the area even though they are longer drive to where i need to go. |First up, when we walked in to check in, we were not greeted at all by the counter person nor was our status level acknowledged at all. In fact I don’t think they even looked me in the eye once. After hundreds and hundreds of times staying at various Marriott properties, i know the standard questions and acknowledgements— but this time— Nothing.. Really pathetic for a marriott. Our stay was 4 days/3 nights- and we were not told or asked if we wanted our room checked on/

This property might be fine for a short stay, but I do not recommend it for a longer one like mine. I booked a 7-night stay in a suite because comfort is important to me. However, upon check-in, I was given a standard room instead. When I asked about it, the front desk explained that the hotel was overbooked and promised to move me to the correct room the next day. That first night was uncomfortable — I didn’t even shower because the bathroom was an accessible setup, which I personally find inconvenient to use. The next day, I had to contact Hotels.com to get help, and only then did the property finally move me to the suite I had originally booked. This issue should have been corrected proactively by the staff, not after escalation. Now on my third day, I realized no one has cleaned my r

Positive: The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the bathroom was very spacious and comfortable Negative: The breakfast was just not tasty at all and the temperature automatically resetting after a few minutes in the room

Paid for the room but then once we were going to check in the guy at the front desk said they gave our rooms to someone else. even thought we booked ahead of time. then they were willing to downgrade us to a motel and they wouldn’t even take care of the motel.
