Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Columbus

Rooms and breakfast were fine. NOTE... If you book with expedia they will put a $20 dollar hold charge on your card. It gets refunded when you leave if you dont break anything or mess the place up.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean.I spent the entire weekend and they had suggestions on place to eat activities for everyone in the family.

Be aware that this is hotel will charge you extra fees if you book through Expedia. Bunch of crooks! I’ve used Expedia for almost 20 years and I’ve never experienced the hotel adding on their own fees upon arrival. They also ran my card three times for said fees and refuse to refund the amount. The staff is also extremely rude and at my first stay I was reprimanded for booking through Expedia. Worst hotel experience ever.

Bed bugs. The Fairfield Marriott in Columbus, NE was absolutely disgusting with flys and bed bugs everywhere, including in the food. No soap in the showers. Didn’t look like it was cleaned. Brought the issues to management who didn’t care at all. I asked for a refund and told the manager that they had ruined my day by me being late to the meeting I had as I had to hop back in the shower again after not having soap the first time. He said we gave you a late checkout I said that it did not fix what had already happened. I said I would further escalate the issue with corporate management and the board of directors and he said you won’t be welcome back here.

I've came to the hostel an Monday, the floor of the bathroom was dirty, lot of hair and others. I've been for 5 day in the rooms, the last day was the only cleaning i got, and they didn't remove the hair ! Both of room, my colleague and me, was pretty dark.
