Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Batesville

I’m not one to complain, and that is not my intention here. This is so others can make informed decisions moving forward. My interaction with Fairfield Inn & Suites Batesville fell well below the level of professionalism and clarity I expect. Communication was inconsistent, there were noticeable delays and disconnects, and staff seemed unable to confidently address accessibility assurances. Most concerning, I was told directly by the manager that an accessible room would NOT be reserved for the family members who required it [isn't that illegal?!]. Accessibility is not a preference — it is essential. It must be confirmed and guaranteed in advance to ensure safety and dignity. The room was big enough but the thermostat never seemed to work. When we got to the room, it was 74°. I turned it down to 66° to sleep. It never cooled down, despite being December and when I woke up at 3am because I was too hot, it was 77°. I ended up getting up and leaving the hotel at 4:30am. There was coffee available that early which was the only good thing. There was also a lot of light shining through the window.

Wow! We were forced to stay here during snowpocalypse 2026 while our power amd water was out and I have to say that Im thoroughly impressed with the service and hospitality! Sometimes hotels will ignore the do not disturb sign but we haven't been bothered our entire stay. Breakfast is great and they have a waffle maker! It was some of the only food we could eat that wasnt out of a gas station due to all the ice. Best of all is they made accommodations for us and our situation since it was 36 degrees in our house. Thank you so much for keeping us safe and warm!

Just as Marriott's motto says for it's Fairfield chain, "Beautiful, simple, stay." I was in the Ole Miss area for a conference, and happened upon this through an Expedia search. Cool, almost Art Deco looking room, awesome large desktop space to layout my laptop, folders and books, and a cool looking, 'sexy' bathroom with a glass shower. To add to that, complimentary breakfast( the sauaage gravy was rockin' on a biscuit and great scrambled eggs. I forgot to write down the name of the coffee they feature, it was so good. Awesome staff when I checked in. Jamari, a student at Ole Miss, greeted me warmly and explained the hotel layout and features. Thank you, Jamari!! Good efforts on your studies.

We stayed overnight here to break up a long drive. The front desk was efficient and friendly. Our room was beautiful. It had everything you would want in a hotel room. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower and glass doors. We spent some time in the pool, which was nice. The bed in the room was super comfortable. I did not hear any other guests the whole time we were there. Every area of the hotel we visited was spotless, which is so important to anyone staying in a hotel even for just one night.
