Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Albuquerque North

It was an easy check in. Did not get to avail military discount as we booked via Expedia but paid directly to Marriott. Location was excellent as it is walking distance to restaurants and even the cinema (we didn’t get to go to the cinema for full three night four day schedule.) This hotel has no free airport shuttle. Unsatisfactory as when it came to the day of housekeeping (we were told it’s every other day), we made the bed everyday like we do anywhere but didn’t expect to find the bed the same way when we came back while the trash cans were emptied and new towels provided. Not sure what that was about. Pool/hot tub—-we were out of luck. Kids were jumping around and there was one night there were more than 7 adults in the tub and with the kids jumping around again. Everything from the staff to the facilities was top notch. Treated like a valued guest. Hotel is kept in great condition, room was very clean and comfortable. Received a lovely upgrade for being a gold elite member and the Manager called me to make sure I was satisfied with everything in my room. Breakfast had a lot of great choices and was delicious. Neighborhood has lots of great restaurants nearby and I felt very safe in the parking lot a night. Very important when you are a female traveling alone. Loved this property and it will be my go to every time I am in Albuquerque!

This is in-between a 4 and a 5 rating. Firstly, lots of free parking in the lot. Checkin was a breeze. I had used the digital key, so my room was ready at 9am. yes, 9am. haha. I showed up at 3pm, and swiftly given my room keys. The room was a standard two queen bedroom. The tv was pretty large, mounted right on the wall. Only about 40 TV channels to choose from, but its also a smart tv you can log into Netflix or amazon etc. The location is excellent. Just far enough off the I-25 that the road noise wasn't to bad. I did have a West facing room, so it was pretty quiet from noise. My biggest complaint was the thin walls. I could hear almost every door being shut and slammed. I would suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I had issues getting the room heater to be on co

Kyewi was the kindest lady to welcome us after a tiring driving day. She provided a warm welcome service and for sure she is a star between the members of the team. Room was good enough and clean.

Beds are not comfortable. One side of this king bed is permanently collapsed. This is very obvious and housekeeping should have seen this and reported it. The bathroom faucet is set too far back. You have to wash your hands up against the back of the sink. Shower shelf is broken. Obvious dust coming out of the vents. Constant freeway noise. Front desk staff didn’t greet me when walking past. Not impressed with this place at all. I’d ask for money back if this wasn’t a work trip. Not worth the hassle. I’ll just stay somewhere else next time I’m in town.
