Fairfield by Marriott Boston Medford

I needed to write this review to say thank you to a Fairfield employee who went above and beyond for me. Firstly, the hotel was awesome. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and had everything I needed. The best part of my stay though, was my experience at breakfast. The food was great, but the service was even better. The breakfast attendant named Ramona was extremely friendly and helpful. From explaining what was available and having plates and utensils ready to go for us to setting our table before we sat down and removing items we were done with, it felt like we had our own server. She so kind and her service was truly appreciated.

We had a great experience here. Staff was very nice and efficient. The location to the train was easy and quick. Google maps shows a long way around but it’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel through a covered tunnel through a garage. Parking is easy and free in the garage. Breakfast was typical cereal, yogurt Waffles some eggs and bacon.

Room is clean and breakfast is good. Need more parking space that’s will be great.

The room that we had was on high floor and facing the highway . The room was very noisy . It was hard enough with the noise from outside but the toilet in the bathroom ran continuously and the fan I bathroom would not shut off . The room was very small . Would not recommend if you are staying for more then a day . We were not happy . The breakfast was very nice and lots of options . The breakfast area was very nice as well . The gym was very small but had basic things .

My only complaint with this hotel is the cleanliness of the bedding. The sheets had not been properly washed, as I noticed what looked like a blood stain and smear on the comforter. I reported this to the front desk, and they apologized and promptly replaced the sheets and comforter. To me the original stain was unacceptable and left me very uncomfortable. Because of this experience, I will not be staying here again. I strongly recommend that future guests inspect the bed upon check-in.
