When checking in, I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Following the exceptional free breakfast the next morning I left my briefcase with multiple valuables in the breakfast room. 200 miles down the road I realized what it happened and called the hotel. They had my briefcase. They kept it safe. The manager, Marjorie, was kind enough to ship the briefcase and its contents to my home. I am so grateful for the assistance in this matter. Knowing the briefcase has been sent is a great relief.

They need to flip their mattresses. Too many body divots in them. The pool is always open, which is great, but their hot tub has been down for months. Breakfast is great. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We love staying there when we visit my husband's mom.

We had large room with a kitchenette, small table and chairs. We didn’t use it, but if we were staying longer, it might have been useful.| The room was clean, if not great around the edges, but with lack of help these days, the half inch the sweeper can’t get , it was OK. The bed comfortable, and linens nice. Bath clean and towels large, good water pressure and Hot water.| It was a quiet motel, actually cows grazing in a field next door. | The breakfast was surprisingly good. Pretty much hotel fare, but hot and refilled. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potato’s, waffles, cereals, juices, bagels and toast, and fruit.| The only downside is there is no elevator so if you have a second floor room you need to use the stairs. | We had dinner at the Black Iron Steak House, and had a reall

Older hotel, needs some work. Our room was clean but the pillows were so thin , it was like having no pillow at all and there were 3 on each bed. Throw them away and get some new pillows. The shower needs work, hot water ran out right away and you had to hold the lever up for water to come out if the shower head, then it screams at you the whole time, carpet stained in room . Well used place. Easy access from I94 close to gas stations and restaurants.

This hotel might be dated but is by far among the best place to spend the night. It's what I call affordable luxury, congratulations to the owners who poured their heart and soul into keeping it up. Breakfast was awesome too
