Extended Stay America Suites- St Paul - Woodbury

My stay was good, not many complaints. Front desk is always pleasant, Rebecca made sure that I had everything i needed. It's very convenient that they have things for the kitchen to use as well.

This place is not what it looks like. The customer service is non existent and they get annoyed to do their job. The key system constantly fails and sometimes you need a new key 3x a week. The coffee they offer is non existent and one of the male workers says he’s been telling upper management they have been out over a month and they will not purchase it. The dog area is filthy and they do not empty the trash so there is piles of poop bags piling up. There are people sleeping in the hallways with open containers and the doors remain unlocked even though the sign in the front says they are always unlocked. The parking lot always has pieces of clothing/ coolers etc. the laundry room does not work for debit or credit and there is no sign and they do not offer any change to to be able to use t

Do NOT stay here. This was my worst hotel experience and I am not picky! Floor and walls were dirty. Moisture seeped up from the floor in the bathroom when walked on. The entire room was in rough shape - chipped paint everywhere where , dents in walls, there was a damp, odd odor. The lamp and bathroom mirror were old, tarnished/rusted. I did notify front desk of bathroom floor and was told the would come assess but no one came. Also reported room condition at check out and was told they would report to “management”. Blows my mind the parking lot was full and place occupied. If it wasn’t for being 9:30pm with kids I would have gotten the heck out of there. Overall NOT clean including lobby and hallways floors which were dirty. Definitely “0” out of 5 stars for review.

This hotel was filthy! My husband and I had white socks on and by the time we left our socks were black. Our sheets were dirty, there was three little things that looked like bugs on the sheets, also hair. The tv didn’t work. The gentleman that was working Saturday night , came up to our room and looked at it, and didn’t have a clue of what to do. He left and never returned. My husband went downstairs again and found him. He said, he couldn’t remember what room we were in. Paint was chipped off the walls. Every corner of the room was dirty.

I recently stayed here for a short trip, and while the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—which I genuinely appreciated—there were a few things that made the stay less than ideal. The room had a strange odor that didn’t go away throughout my stay. It wasn’t overpowering, but definitely noticeable and not what you want to come back to after a long day. My actual floor always felt a bit disgusting when I walked on it. The walls seemed pretty thin, too—there was a lot of hallway noise, and I could hear other guests well into the night, which made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Also if you want your sheets changed you have to strip your own bed. Breakfast was also underwhelming: just coffee and pre-packaged muffins. It felt more like a quick snack station than an actual breakfast offe
