Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Woodbury, MN

Our stay there was wonderful. Clean rooms, we had walk in shower, bed very comfortable but did have to ask for blankets. We were on ground floor and it took a while to figure out how to work curtains for privacy. Would have been nice to have directions posted. Hot tub was very relaxing and pool was clean. The coffee in room was very good. You also get small refrigerator and microwave. Price was great too. I will use them again.

First off let me say I will never be back to this hotel again. We thought the hotel looked decent and was a decent price for a modest hotel. Upon checking in the front desk clerk had on so much cologne that it was offensive. The hotel hall also reeked of a strong perfumiw scent. This is terrible when you are a severe asthmatic like I am. We got to our room to find the bathtub faucet does not turn completely off. We went to the pool that evening to find garbage around the hot tub and pool area. As we tried leaving the pool area we found one of the exit doors don’t open without excessive force. Heaven forbid there be a fire and that the only way out. If I could give less than 1 star I would!!! Right from the start it was bad, no parking had to park in a near by public parking and walk. Walking through the halls is like something straight out of a horror movie with bad lighting low ceilings, and a overall lack of maintenance, this extended to the room as well with peeling paint, stains all over walls/ceiling/bathtub. The heat didn't work. Most of the outlets didn't work, the beds are old, warn down and very uncomfortable, blankets are paper thin, pillows are child sized at best. Fridge was also barly cold. Multiple loud parties going all throughout the night with people and kids running up and down the hallways. Someone burning something or lighting something on fire that smelled terrible. The room wasn't quite what I was hoping for. The door was tricky to shut and the bathroom could use an upgrade. But there was a sliding door where we could exit onto a back yard area, which was cool. And I was easily able to change the temperature of the room to my liking. And my bed was very comfortable with an equally comfortable bedspread. The pool area was wonderful. Plenty of towels to use, the hour tub is big and warm and the pool is big and had fairly warm water as well. The kids enjoyed it. And the breakfast was great too. I was there two days and the hour items did change, so not sure if there is a schedule or not, but these are most of the things that were available at breakfast.
