Extended Stay America Suites- San Diego - Oceanside

I want to give a shout out to Sahara at the front desk! She's so nice and helpful and brings a smile to our faces every time we walk in the front door. She gives treats to our pups and they love her too :) 5 stars for her and other staff is just as nice! we have been staying here while our apartment gets remodeled and so far it's pretty quiet here a lot of nice people stay here, oh it's dog friendly ❤️ We will be sad when it's time to go back home but grateful for all the nice people we have met here.

Positive: The coffee was good. Negative: There is no wheelchair curb cut at the front entrance where you check in. Also, the mattress needs to be replaced.

The rooms are like small studio suites. Comes with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and stovetop. Good amount of cabinet space and the bathroom is very decent. I like that there are plenty of outlets to connect devices and plenty of seating. Always greeted when I come through the entrance. Check in was a breeze. Sahara (front desk receptionist) made sure that we had everything we needed, from toiletries, kitchen ware, to linen. Great conversationalist! Been to many hotels, but this one tops them all due to their customer service.

0 starts. My husband is an avid extended stay customer due to work travel and sometimes I accompany him. For some reason his supervisor sent him here and we are absolutely disgusted. As soon as you come in the smell in the stairwell, the hall and let’s get to the room!! Heavy cigarette smell. The fridge looks like they pulled it from the alley. And the furniture beat up. Along with of course the people that are staying. We did not sleep well hearing the man in next room cussing all night. Never again! We will definitely go to the other location we like. Moving rooms ASAP!!!

Close to the ocean and near a lot of restaurants and shops and bars the staff was very helpful and very friendly easy to access the parking and designated smoking area pet friendly and close to shopping mall and grocery stores
