Extended Stay America Suites- Dayton - Fairborn

One of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel. Checked into the room and it was filthy. I'm not super picky about hotels, but this was by far one of the worst I've attempted to stay at. There was waste still in the toilet and all over seat, piles of hair in the bathtub, stains on the pullout couch, the kitchen had food splatter everywhere, and the microwave was not cleaned at all. The carpet was filthy. It was a very busy weekend in Fairborn, and most of the hotels were already sold out. I went to the Dollar Tree and got cleaning supplies and attempted to try to clean the mess. After 45 minutes, I thought, why should I have to do this. I left the room cleaner than when I checked in. I generally prefer to fix problems rather than complain, but the lack of basic hygiene and service here is unacceptable. Upon check-in, I had to personally deep-clean the room. The bathroom was filthy, with the previous guest's toothpaste still on the faucet and a bathtub so dirty I had to buy my own Magic Eraser to scrub it. The kitchen was no better; the fridge was covered in hair and debris, the inside was covered in water at the bottom and the back of tbe stove is coated in grease which could easily be managed with a sos pad. Be aware that there is no housekeeping, even for week-long stays. You are responsible for your own cleaning supplies and trash. There is no central trash room; you must carry your garbage all the way to the outdoor dumpsters yourself—a massive ordeal if you have

Positive: The room was spacious. Negative: The bathroom door lock was not working, and the bath shower flow was slow/low.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice. Definitely comfy and we'll go back this is my new hotel of choice thanks to the incredible staff. Nice rooms in a overall a very comfortable environment. Also prices are very affordable being on a business budget this place definitely has my 5 stars.

Do not stay here. Run down and disgusting. Smells like smoke in the halls and rooms. Floors are heavily stained with questionable fluids. Furniture was broken. Boogers on the walls. Staff was nice but this place is terrible.
