Extended Stay America Suites- Clearwater - Carillon Park

We booked 10 weeks of stay for an employee. 3 nights each of those weeks. First 2 weeks were around $250. The following 8 weeks were $483. Not a problem because it seemed we would get a nice clean comfortable place for him. It was absolutely disgusting, dirty, stinky, drunk and high people right outside most of the night. He left and found another better place to stay and we cancelled the remaining nights/weeks. See the pictures, it looks like we book a $50 a night room for him in a trashy place. Do not go here, it is horrific.

Kitchen with nothing in it. Have to ask for anything you need like dishes, frying pan, spatula etc. I asked and got some things but never everything I asked for. Room was dirty, they never cleaned it. The toilet leaked all over the floor and that had to be fixed. Then the complex went without hot water for 2 days. The pool was too dirty to use. No discounts. Don't use this location. There is a better one down the street!

Stayed here 2 days ago. This was the only option due to no bookings available anywhere else. The room we booked was 1 bed, but we received a 2 bd room. This would have been fine but they were twin sized beds. Also we were informed there was no hot water. We just stayed anyway. The front desk clerk also told us there hasn't been hot water for 2 WEEKS. How can a hotel rent rooms to people knowing the hot water hasn't worked for that long? She was instructed not to tell guests how long it's been and to act like it just became an issue and maintenance wouldn't be there until the morning. What BS. How can the rooms even be cleaned properly without HOT WATER? Then to for e these employees to lie to customers is beyond me. This place should be shut down until they can fix the water heater or what

Stay Away! This place is awful on every level. The office is always locked with a courtesy phone outside. No one ever answers. Rooms are absolutely disgusting and I could not even shower here. Of course its the only really cold weekend in FL and the heat does not work! Used the sticky room phone to call front desk. No answer. Go figure. Loud banging on sunday morning started early. No cooking utensils or supplies unless you ask. Not even an ice tray. Ask who? There's never anyone available. The smell of smoke and dog comes through the dusty, mold? covered, rusty ac unit that only blows semi cold stinky air. The amount of hair in this room was just insane. Dog hair, people hair, so must dust the furniture had hair. Don't think the carpet has every seen a vacuum.

Positive: The staff is very friendly and accommodating to my needs. Overall just a very good property to stay at has everything you need in the kitchen. Nice pool to go into etc and the staff is awesome truly professional and accommodating to your business needs. Negative: Only had a pool pump took a week to get here other than that everything's great
