Extended Stay America Select Suites- Tallahassee - Northwest

As a hotel guest in residence for awhile I have been in consistent contact with the employees and have watched Managers circulate like a revolving door. I read the reviews but my experience is from a different perspective. Sheila is, and has always been warm, kind, and engaging with us. Same for Mr. Joe who has a salt of the earth disposition and fits well in a hospitality environment. The jewel in my opinion is Nick the maintenance worker who responds to any request efficiently and professionally. We have had issues in our room with appliances and he is pristine in his service. The new manager has just arrived recently but pays attention to guest needs, is concerned about comfort and very personable. We've never felt anything but seen and heard

If your looking for long term , short time , or “just in between places,” I highly recommend Extended Stay America! I have been staying here for three weeks now, with my two children. The staff is very friendly and when I arrived I felt very welcomed . The room was clean , the beds were perfectly made and smelled good too . The staff even makes sure we have clean towels and ask to change our linens. This place is quiet, peaceful. and a great place to have a good nights rest.

Positive: Nothing Negative: It was dirty, smelly, TV did not work, front desk attendant did not seem to care, Shower rod broken, paint peeling, lots more....do I need to go on? Front desk attendant gave me the wrong receipt. The place was an absolute disaster.

We stayed at this Extended Stay America in Tallahassee and unfortunately found a dead bug inside the refrigerator in our room. Because this involved food storage, it raised serious sanitation concerns, and we did not feel comfortable using the fridge. We reported it to the front desk and Guest Relations and were asked to submit a photo. While staff was polite, this should not happen in a room that is supposed to be cleaned and ready for guests. Cleanliness, especially in kitchen areas, really needs improvement.

I've been a resident of this establishment for some time now and have seen the management switch hands many times. However, the current staff as of 2-2-26, has been the best thus far. Always attentive to the needs of the guest, engages in friendly conversations and respectful. I am grateful they are all here and appreciative of their hard work. Thanks yall!!
