Extended Stay America Select Suites- Orlando - Southpark - Equity Row

Two people traveling with a 15 pound dog. We read the other reviews and felt like we could make this hotel work if we just brought our own cleaning supplies and bedding. So that’s what we did. We did have to clean the room, it was really dirty. The refrigerator was supper clean, and the tub seemed fine. But the floor, walls, sheets, everything just had a layer of something on it. After we cleaned it was not so bad. I do wish I had brought a little swiffer or a mop pad, we ended up keeping our shoes on. The staff is very nice. The location is AMAZING. It was so easy to get an Uber and go to Epic Universe. We have a pet so I did think to myself maybe our room/hall isn’t great because we have a pet? Maybe there are better sections of the hotel. Positive: Not much frint desk lady was very nice Negative: The hallways smelled similar to dirty wet carpet the air was not cold enough and I heard several dogs barking through the night I left a night early even though I pre paid I will not be returning to this location and I would advise others not too either

Front desk service made us feel like we were an inconvenience checking in late night and we didn’t have a garbage can in our room

I chose this hotel because it advertised having a kitchen and showed that breakfast was included when I booked. Unfortunately, the breakfast information was completely misleading, and that was very disappointing. The property itself is not well maintained, and the rooms are in poor condition. Yes, there is a kitchen, but it’s in terrible shape and does not include any basic utensils such as plates, pans, or cutlery. For a tourist staying only a few days, this makes the kitchen completely useless. Cleanliness is a major issue. The bathrooms are worn down and poorly maintained. Some rooms have carpet that smells very bad, so if you are sensitive to odors, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. If the price is significantly cheaper than other hotels, it might be worth considering. Howeve

I decided to stay at this hotel because the price was probably a little too reasonable I guess and the location is not far from the main attractions in Orlando the parks and things. But as soon I as got here I knew I made a mistake. I walk into the hotel after traveling all day tired to hopefully check in about 45 minutes early. As soon as I walk it it’s a big note at the desk that says I am helping other guest I will be back soon if you need immediate help please dial 0000 on the phone. But there was no phone there. I waited 25 minutes before somebody showed up to the desk! A skinny black girl walks up from the side of the hallway at this point it was a few of us standing there she looks at us and ask why we standing there. I proceeded to ask her could I check in early she started yelling
