Extended Stay America Select Suites- Orlando - East

I have been here for years and I must say this place has changed so much under the new management and staff. One of my favorites is ms Sonya she is so helpful even tho we can't communicate well she is always trying. She cleans rooms with efficiency and speed. She is always checking if I need anything toiletries or bags towels and etc.. location is getting better as far as outside the hotel.

I have to give the manager of this hotel the credit he deserves. This hotel is filled with very happy employees who are here early and stay late if needed without any rudeness to guests. Now I know how management works and if there was any bad feelings you would see it in the staffs attitude, but not here. The rooms are clean and maid service is available. Not understanding the bad reviews, we have been here for more than 6 months and I could not be happier with this hotel, but I hold the manager fully accountable of this amazing community he has developed. Amazing hotel and staff!

Positive: The smell of weed and smoke started at the elevator and continued to the hallway and inside the bedroom. The bed was hard as a rock so even if the room hadn?t smelled of weed I probably wouldn?t have stayed there. Negative: ""

The room was not habitable. We checked in at 6.05 pm, and left immediately. The room smelled of bleach and marijuana. No other rooms were available. The quality of the hotel was poor. It was a last minute booking through an extended stay telemarketer and we were traveling with our dog. Since no rooms were available, they should have refunded the $140 charge. The hotel refunded their part. Extended stay would not. I will never book with Extended Stay again. I called them and they said their manager would call me back. No phone call. I disputed the charge on my credit card without success.

The room was disgusting. We checked in late so by the time we realized how dirty it really was it was too late to get our room switched. We ended up going to walmart to pick up cleaning sprays and paper towels. I cleaned the floor it was so dirty the towel was black when inwas done cleaning it. The sink was full of hair, the refrigerator hasnt been cleaned so i had to disinfect and wipe it down. The towels werent even clean. We do not recommend and will not be back. I told the front desk that the room hadnt been cleaned and that I went and bought stuff to clean because of how bad it was. We were there because of a funeral which is why we stayed there because it was convenient to the location but wish we hadn't. The 2nd night there we even killed 2 cockroaches!
