Encino Motel

$60 for this OLD, NASTY AND RUNDOWN motel room is CRAZY! First off I’d like to let everyone know please BEWARE of the man at the front desk when you arrive. He is so rude. As we were getting ready to leave the housekeeper knocked at 10:30am I let her know we were getting up and getting ready to head out. She said okay, not even 1 minute later someone knocks super hard. I open the door and it’s the man he RUDELY tells me to get out and that’s it’s 11. I said sir it’s 10:40 and we’re getting ready to leave. He repeatedly kept saying to get out and started yelling for everyone to get out. As we were leaving he said to never return to his motel again. I would never go back there again.

I use this Motel weekly for work. Buildings are a bit older but the Rooms are very clean, quiet day or night and comfortable. Covered parking is awesome in the Texas sun. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I work night shifts and I have checked in/out earlier/later than the posted hours to fit my work schedual without any problems. They are happy to work with you and have always allowed me to extend my stay for a day or two extra when I needed to for work, regardless of what the booking sites tell you. It's affordable and equally comparable to any of the more pricy hotels/motels in the area.

This is an older motel. But it is clean. The furnishings and the whole room is outdated. And the owners of the motel, ruin the whole experience if it wasn't ruined anyways. They are very rude, and nosy. They practically run to the window every time you have a guest.

The owners were nice, the rooms were cheap, and the bathroom sink and vanity were new. The bad part is the mattresses are hard, the tv's are small, there was mold in the bathroom around the trim of the door and the base boards of the floor, and a blood splatter stain on the ceiling above one of the beds. I'm not saying I wouldn't stay here again, but the circumstances would have to be really bad for me to stay here again. I honestly had no choice because all other places had no rooms available, and my truck's radiator bit the dust... I had no other choice. P.s. I purposely chose not to take or post pics of my room, and I was in room 12 in case you care to see it for yourself. P.p.s. If you want food, the only thing I found that delivered was Domino's, but you can't order online because it'

The room I was given was, not good (trying to be nice.) As soon as I opened the door the smell of cigarette hit me in the face. The beds are super hard and I did find a couple of hairs in the sheets. I put my comforter over theirs. The paint on the restroom ceiling is peeling off. The front door looked like the room had been broken into at least a couple of times (and wasnt fixed very well.) The rooms are so close to road that you can hear traffic zooming by at all hours, and it's pretty loud. Their pool looks like it hasnt been used in about 10 years. If you have a choice, just don't do it. I would definitely NOT recommended it to anyone.
