Empire Inn & Suites - Atlantic City/Absecon

We checked in around 10:30 PM with a group of families and a solo traveler, and the front desk was disorganized and difficult to deal with from the start. Our group split between rooms on the bottom and top floors. Immediately, we noticed issues: cockroaches in one bathroom, cigarette burns on blankets in multiple rooms, and spiders in another room. Despite being told the rooms were nonsmoking, one room had such a strong smoke smell that it was unbearable for a pregnant woman and a child with asthma. Dirty blankets and suspected bed bugs were also found in that room. Additionally, multiple rooms had cigarette burns on the blankets. When we asked for a refund due to these unpleasant conditions, we were met with further rudeness.

Took my little fam here during Memorial day weekend. Staff was great and very attentive. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff on point with toiletries. Would definetly come here again during the summer. Pool was fun, fellow neighbors have music and food and love to share. Family oriented and seems to be family owned as well.

This place was terrible! Not only did it show and say they have a swimming pool but upon arriving come to find out there is no swimming pool! The room smelled musty, lamp cover broken, the shower water smelled moldy the skin water was yellow! Do not stay here!

I am a local and needed a room for the nite due to a funeral the next morning. The room was fairly clean. There were multiple cigarette burns in the comforters which I see often in the area. The heater did not work and it was freezing in the room. The television didn't work. There was no hot water for the shower. There was hair on the shower walls and the tub did not drain properly due to not being cleaned out. Only reason they're receiving three stars is because the gentleman at the front desk was nice.

I got here bout 8:30 at night & my boyfriend always takes off the quilts to check bed & the warm blanket to.cover yourself with was filled with mad cigarette burnt holes, & he went dwn to complain & they told him that he has to take that up with housekeeping. But do to the fact it was cold & 🥶 & all we wanted to do was enjoy our weekend . It's so sad how people at times treat customers. Smfh
